Silvia is a freelance journalist and writer based in London. Currently, she works as an Editor for the platform FoodUnfolded, funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology: a body of the EU, established under the Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. Her work has been published in national and international media outlets, including Corriere della Sera , the BBC World Service,

She also investigates the impact of human practices on the environment and local communities. Together with a group of European journalists, Silvia is currently researching a story on gambling regulation funded by an IJ4EU funding for cross-border investigative journalism in Europe released by the European Journalism Centre. She is also currently co-producing the second season of iHeartRadio’s and Seeker’s podcast Surprisingly Brilliant.
Between 2018 and early 2020, Silvia also worked for KCA London, producing content for the master-planning of museums and cultural destinations around the world, with a focus on cultural interpretation and cultural diplomacy. In 2019, she co-authored the book Patterns in Art published by Abbeville Press in the United States, and shortlisted for both the AWDA Women in Design Award and the Communication Arts Design Award.
